Interest Groups

Global Mental Health Interest Group

The Global Mental Heath Interest Group provides a setting in which residents and faculty discuss and form collaborations around their global mental health work. Residents with an interest in pursuing a career in global mental health are encouraged to join quarterly evening seminars in which residents and faculty present their past, current and further projects. Faculty in this group often invite residents to participant in their own projects and serve as mentors and resources for residents who are initiating their own projects.

Child & Adolescent Interest Group

The Child and Adolescent Interest Group brings together residents of all levels who are interested in this area of psychiatry. We have the benefit of being affiliated with Children's National Health System. Our group holds social events with the fellows from CNHS and this year will be hosting talks with attending physicians from a diverse range of subspecialty clinics. Our focus is on learning more about the opportunities within the field as well as the practical aspects of applying to fellowship.

Neuropsychiatry Interest Group

The Neuropsychiatry Interest Group is an interest group made up of residents in psychiatry and neurology with shared interest in special topics at the intersection of neurology and psychiatry.
